The 1-31 Sheet for Creating a New Habit and Keeping You On-Track
By admin on March 20, 2014
Psychologists say it takes 21 consecutive days of repeating something for it to become a new habit.
That’s why the 1-31 Sheet is ideal for creating a new habit or making sure you do something every day.
So… if you want to create a new habit, like writing, dieting, exercising or calling prospective clients for 1 hour every day, this is the ideal tool to keep you on track.
Here’s how you use it.
- Print out the 1-31 sheet…
- Write the activity you want as a new habit, in the left column;
- Place the page some place where you can see it every day, like taped near your computer;
- Every day, place a check mark in the box for that day (box 19 for February 19th);
- Do it every day for 1-2 months and magically you will have a new habit ingrained;
- If you miss a day, don’t fret.
However, you will have a visual reminder every day of the days you did or did not do that activity (and a daily reward by checking the box as you do the activity)
