Improve Your Life by Creating Brand-New Habits… Using the 1-31 Sheet

Today – show you a tool to help you create a new habit / behavior.

Let’s say you want to create the habit of doing something every day, like:

– Writing for 1 hour in the morning (like best selling author Michael Crichton, who wrote Jurassic Park);

– Calling prospects for at least one hour a day;

– Become expert in something by forcing yourself to read something new on it for 15 minutes every day;

– Sending a marketing piece out every day (Jack Canfield, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul, forced himself to do 6 marketing things every day);

– Practice playing the piano or guitar; or

– Tell someone you love them or your employees or co-workers that you appreciate them.

It’s called the 1-31 Sheet. Psychologists say it takes 21 days of repeated action to create a new habit / behavior pattern. Well, there are up to 31 days in a month, so the 1-31 sheet can be used any month.
