Internet Business Ideas #1. Quickly Create a High-Profit Training Program to Sell Online

Table of Contents

Here’s one of those Internet business ideas almost anyone with simple access to a computer and the Internet could do, and pretty fast.

Do you know something that others would be interested in learning?

If yes, why not quickly create an online training program, using a pre-established platform like JigsawBox for about $67-a-month.

Programs like this let you create an Intenet-based training program in a few days from scratch, by adding text, videos, audios, images, online seminars, and tests you can have people take. They even have a simplified way to book. conduct and get paid for coaching or consulting people one-on-one or in groups if you want, all in a professional-looking format. You could even use this type of Internet business service to schedule meetings and events and collect payment online.

This is one of the most powerful Internet business ideas because it’s so easy and quick to create a full-blown professional product using someone else’s great-looking platform.

I’ve seen people create a six-chapter outline, shoot video with their SmartPhone for each chapter, add some PowerPoint or Keynote slides and edit it all together using one of the free Online editing programs. Then they write a brief introduction to the six chapters, add a 5-question quiz at the end of each chapter… and in less than two weeks they have a $300 to $1,000 training program that starts selling like crazy.

As long as you are offering how-to information on a topic people are hungry for — anything from “How to Eat Healthy” to “How to Train Your Hamster to Do Tricks” to “Yoga at Your Desktop” to “How to Build Your Own Drone” to “The Beginner’s Guide to Trading Stocks” to “How to Raise an Emotionally Healthy Child” to “How to Pick Up Girls” to you name it — this could be an effective income-generating Internet business for you.

How to Know if Your Product Will Be a Best Seller

Before you go off and create your training product, review Amazon.com, Google Trends and Google Zeitgeist to help ensure you’ve selected the Internet business ideas that have the potential to become real moneymakers.

Start with Amazon.com.

If you have no idea what topic to choose, click on the BOOKS category and type TOP 100 NONFICTION BOOKS. Then scroll through the list to see if there’s a topic that interests you.

Or… If you have a rough idea of the subject you want to create a training product for, follow this procedure.

Step 1: In Amazon under BOOKS, type the topic and see what comes up.

Step 2: If you can find at least three books on the Internet business topic you are interested in, that rank #15,000 or less (see the example below), it’s likely that you’ve found a category people are willing to pay money for (there are more than 2 million books in Amazon, so a book that ranks as the 15,000th most popular or better means plenty of people are buying it).

If you can’t find at least three, you may want to consider searching for a different topic for your training program, as it appears that people are unwilling to pay for this information.

To find a potentially profitable topic for your Internet business information product, you may also consider reviewing Google Trends and Google Zeitgeist. These contain lists of heavily searched topics on Google. Of course, you should make sure you select a topic that’s evergreen — that will be hot for a long time, and not one that will trend quickly.

Selecting a hot topic and then creating a training program based on that could be one of the hottest Internet business ideas for generating real money. The reason is simple. You are capitalizing on what people are already buying, and simply offering them a better alternative.

You may also want to read my article, Product Creation Clinic – How to Create a Sellable Online Information Product in 5 Days”. It has more specific details on how to quickly create an online training product, using mostly free resources readily available through the Internet.

Internet Business Ideas #2. Offer Someone Else’s “Offline” Products Through the Internet — And Generate a Massive Income

Literally millions of products are available offline, that are not yet available online, or that are poorly marketed online.

This presents you with an incredible Online business opportunity, if you are willing to learn a little about how to sell products through the Internet. (Of course, our free and low-cost training at Online Success Help Desk can help).

As Internet business ideas go, I was surprised how many manufacturers of great products are available, and are more than willing to make it easy to sell their products online.

I found an incredible pet supplement that was sold through pet groomers and breeders, but barely sold online. By asking the owner if I could become a distributor and then, creating effective Internet business sites to sell these products online, within six months I was able to generate $100,000-a-month in sales. Like many companies, this one was willing to drop-ship, meaning they would ship directly to my customers and pay me a commission every time someone bought.

Online marketer Perry Belcher explained how he’s making a fortune with his Internet business, selling physical products.

Here’s how…

He does a Google search looking for Internet business products people are searching for that have few suppliers available. Then he searches Alibaba or one of the other international marketplaces to find a supplier. During this time he also does a little advertising — even though he doesn’t have product available yet. This helps him understand if there are real buyers available online. Of course, he accepts NO money and lets people know that the product is not yet available.

Once he is sure this is an Internet business product people want to buy, he orders a supply and starts selling them. If he finds a domestic manufacturer who is willing to drop-ship, his selling begins almost immediately.

One of his hottest sellers is the metal posts connected together by rope that banks and others use to keep people in line.

Of course, this only works if you know how to build an Internet business that gets online customers.

The good news is, plenty of great programs are available to teach you how — including our own Internet business training site.

Hundreds of Sources for Great Products

If you are interested in finding great products to build your own successful Internet business, that may not be available online, here are a few sources:

  • Your own community, where local manufacturers with great products may not understand how to market online. If you handle the online marketing, you could make a small fortune, with the right product and the right Internet business strategy.
  • The Thomas Register of American Manufacturers lists thousands of domestic manufacturers (http://www.thomasnet.com/);
  • Alibaba — the web platform that lists thousands of International Manufacturers (www.Alibaba.com);
  • Once you have identified an industry or product category you believe can lead to a successful Internet business, check out the Trade Magazines, Trade and Industry Associations, Trade Shows and Exhibits. These can often provide lists and catalogs from thousands of suppliers. To find the ones for the industry you want, these directories, available online or from your public library, will help:
  • The U.S. Department of Commerce also has resources to help identify U.S. manufacturers (http://www.commerce.gov/).
  • SMC (Previously Specialty Merchandise Corporation) is a membership program for people trying to build their Internet businesses. They give you easy access to thousands of products which they import and warehouse for you. If you want to get started or are uncomfortable approaching manufacturers, this is a great place to start. They even provide guidance on how to sell them  (http://www.smcsecure.com/products6.aspx)

If you are interested in exploring Internet business ideas like this further, I have a highly popular training program that may be interesting to you. It’s called, “The Encyclopedia of Additional Income Sources,” which has an incredible how-to manual, easy-video training and a directory with hundreds of great suppliers and sources. The entire program is available for just a few dollars as part of our affordable Online Success Help Desk membership program.

Internet Business Ideas #3. Create an Online Directory — Selling Other People’s Stuff for a Huge Profit

Surprisingly, setting it up a directory to sell other people’s stuff is easier than most people realize.

I’ve seen people selling your stuff on eBay for you. But eBay isn’t the only Internet business platform for selling other people’s stuff.

How about Industrial Equipment?

Harvey sells other people’s used heavy equipment, like lathes and manufacturing machinery, through an online exchange he created. He’s a broker, between people trying to sell their used equipment and people searching for a great deal.

To build his Internet business, he used Shopify, which enabled him to quickly create an online catalog for the equipment he wanted to sell.

Then, he contacted manufacturers across the country to identify old or unused equipment they wanted to get rid of. They would supply photos and technical descriptions, which he would post on the Shopify website he created, along with shipping costs he got with the help of trucking companies. Then he started contacting hundreds, and eventually thousands of potential buyers, who would regularly search his online catalog for deals.

While trying to build his Internet business, sometimes the person he contacted had nothing to get rid of. Instead, they were looking for a certain piece of equipment themselves. In these cases, Harvey would get on the phone and try to track down the piece they wanted.

To build the database for his Internet business, Harvey would find the names of potential buyers and sellers through trade associations and by scanning through trade show and industry directories online and in his public library, which he entered manually into a database he created. Once he started making money, he automated this process, and hired people to help him.

Within six months, Harvey was generating mid-six-figures of profit, with almost no cost — because he never had to take possession of the equipment he was trying to sell. It stayed put in the seller’s location until someone wanted to buy.

For this Internet business idea, Harvey was simply an online broker, and a high-paid one at that.

As far as Internet business ideas go, this turned out to be a very lucrative one. With a typical piece of equipment selling for $30,000 to over $100,000, by adding a 10% profit on every item he’d sell, his income took off quickly, offering something few people would ever consider selling through the Internet.

Earning Big-Bucks With… Not Just Products but Services

Here’s an example of someone who built an Internet business, from a totally different industry…

How about helping professionals get found…

In radio advertising, having a talk-how host promote your product on his or her radio show could really escalate sales like crazy. It’s like having a trusted friend recommend your product to their friends.

However, there are so many different radio stations in so many large and small markets across the U.S., it could be a monumental task for an advertiser wanting to figure out who to use in, say Topeka, Kansas, or just about anywhere else where they are not familiar with the different radio shows available.

Well, one of the first rules of business is…

Every problem is an opportunity to make money, for someone who could figure out how to solve it.

Enter Patty Newmark, with a small advertising agency, who found this problem infuriating. So she decided to build an Internet business to solve this problem.

She hired a small web development company that built an online catalog for her (today she could probably get started by using one of the ready-made platforms that are available).

Her online catalog contained the photo, bio, show description, city or region details, and sample ads from talk-show hosts in every major city and region across the country.

Although it took a while to get enough radio hosts listed to make her directory attractive to advertisers, today her massively profitable Newmark Advertising’s “Personality Radio” Online Catalog is the bible for advertisers wanting to use talk-show hosts to promote for them.

So, as far as profitable Internet business ideas go, could setting up an online directory be a valuable way for you to generate a huge income?

If the answer is yes, many great web platforms are available to simplify your ability to launch quickly, often for a tiny cost. See our “Website Power – The Ultimate Guide to Building a High-Performing Website (and Web Platform)” for extensive details on platforms available and how to use them to build a successful Internet business.

Internet Business Ideas #4. Find Someone With an Awesome Product or Service… and Partner With Them (It’s Surprisingly Easy)

Here’s a problem that many online marketers have.

They’re great at setting up an internet business. But, often they can’t find enough profitable ideas. So they become suppliers, offering to build websites or generate web traffic for others, rather than generating direct income for themselves.

Here’s an alternative, that can be much more lucrative:

Find people with awesome products or ideas… and partner with them.

Online mega-marketer Ryan Deiss built an incredible Internet business that’s a prime example.

Ryan went to school to learn Internet marketing, while his childhood friend was getting an advanced degree in finance.

Then his friend got a hairbrained idea about creating a stock trading platform, where people could learn how to invest in the stock market, but without risking their own money.

With Ryan’s technical expertise and his friend’s financial acumen, they created Forex, which quickly became a massively successful business.

Although Ryan eventually sold his share of Forex to major investors, he continued this concept of finding people with great ideas for online businesses, and partnering with them to launch hugely profitable Internet businesses.

The Opportunity is Often Right Under Our Nose… But We Don’t See It

Even with the business you may already have, opportunities for lucrative partnership may be right in front of you, but you don’t realize it.

Rahul helps companies that are trying to improve their Internet business marketing. He creates animated online banner ads for major companies. He is responsible for creating a few ads, and split testing them online until he finds the one that converts best — bringing the most customers. For smaller clients, he is also intimately involved in getting these ads placed on major websites.

For him, it’s a dogfight out there, trying to get enough clients, because the competition is so fierce.

But here’s a twist to his Internet business he had never considered… a massive opportunity he’s sitting on, if only he could start “thinking outside the box.”

If we objectively analyze his expertise, what do we learn?

  • He’s expert at creating online ads that generate sales, regardless of the type of business or product advertised;
  • He knows how and where to place ads, so they are seen by the largest number of people.

Rahul recently found himself in a fierce competition to win an equipment manufacturer as a client. He knew his work building an Internet business presence for them would generate millions in new business once the Online marketing would begin.

So I suggested he try something a little different…

“Instead of bidding for the business, why not suggest a partnership between you and them. You build an entire online campaign at-or-slightly-below cost. In exchange, they give you $200 for every “qualified” lead you provide them.”

Rahul knew he could generate way more than 1,000 leads-per-year with his Internet business campaign. Especially with their equipment selling for $10,000 to $50,000 a piece, his Internet business income would be significant.

Plus, the added benefit to this advertiser would be, Rahul would have skin in the game. The more business he brought them, the more money he would make for himself.

Suddenly, Rahul was offering something massively better than his competitor, with the opportunity to transform a $30,000 payday into more than $200,000 of profits, year-in and year-out.

This Internet business arrangement would also make it nearly impossible for the manufacturer to ever go to a competitor.

Once You Learn to Sell Online… Everything Changes

The opportunity here is simple.

Most people with great ideas and great products or services, suck at marketing.

So, if you can learn know how to generate online income, instead of consulting or trying to help other people, why not partner with them?

You can generally find people with great Internet business ideas and products in school, through Facebook and LinkedIn Groups, scanning industry and trade association directories, through your local Chamber of Commerce or with simple advertising. I’ve seen someone post ads on a university bulletin board and in a high-school newspaper, and find great partners.

With a little training, you could quickly learn what is needed to launch an Internet business that you leverage into this kind of success.

From there, finding someone with a great idea or product could catapult you beyond what you could ever do trying to come up with your own great product or service.

Internet Business Ideas #5. Sell Affiliate Products… Choose the Right Ones and Your Income Can Skyrocket

Are you creative and do you understand how to use the Internet to generate customers and income?

If yes, you may want to identify products and services already set up for Affiliate sales, get an Affiliate link from them, and sell them yourself, through your own Internet business website and other marketing.

An Affiliate link is a unique link you get from a company that offers Affiliate commissions. Then, whenever someone buys something using THAT link, the marketer gets alerted that the sale came from you, and they send you money, usually 30-60 days after the purchase.

This can be especially valuable for building your Internet business if you identify a specific niche — focusing on offering multiple products and services to a specific type of person or business.

For example, Tom gives away a FREE eBook on Internet marketing — and generates almost $200,000-a-year through Affiliate links that he has listed throughout the book.

So, the book is free, but he gets paid every time someone clicks a link and buys the product the link takes them to. A great Internet business, don’t you think?!

Another successful marketer gives away a FREE ebook on cooking, with recipes from around the world. She generates a great income because of the Affiliate links she’s included in her book.

First, you may ask, what’s an ebook?

An eBook is typically a 50-200+ page book you create using Microsoft WORD, Apple PAGES or another word processing program. Format it to look somewhat professional, give it a professional-looking cover and voila, you have the essence of a great eBook. (Covers can be created through www.Fiverr.com for five bucks [not always great but sometimes you get lucky], www.KillerCovers.com for about $110, or from www.99Designs.com.)

Once your book is complete, convert it to a PDF using a free PDF converter (available through www.Cnet.com and elsewhere).

You’ll want to convert your eBook to a PDF for three reasons. First, PDF is a universal Internet business format, which is why government documents are in PDF. You’ll never have to worry if the person doesn’t have the same version of word processing as you. Second, the PDF is more difficult to convert to a document that they can alter. Third, an eBook in a PDF format seems more professional.

Who Pays… and How Much?

Major companies like Amazon.com, LegalZoom, Wal-Mart.com and Travelocity.com offer Affiliate programs.

But once you start looking, you’ll notice Affiliate programs listed on thousands of websites, especially at the bottom of websites. That’s because Affiliate marketing is such a valuable part of doing business on the Internet.

Just click the link that says Affiliate, fill out the form and you’ll typically be set up and given your Affiliate link, to place on your website, in your eBook, or to use with other promotions.

Affiliate commissions are typically in the 10-20% range, but can be as high as 50% and more. Some Internet business marketers will only pay for the first sale, while others may continue paying you for months and years, with some paying for the life of the customer.

If you are hunting for available Affiliate programs, besides signing up at the bottom of websites, several Affiliate Networks are also available, where you can search for products that may be ideal for your needs and interests.

Different Affiliate Network have different products available, with many offering training and support, through articles, videos etc., to help you succeed with your Internet busieness.

Here are some of the better-known Affiliate Networks:

  • ClickBank – popular with entry-level merchants because of its ease-of-use.
  • CJ by Conversant (previously Commission Junction) – one of the most popular professional Affiliate networks.
  • Rakuten Linkshare — like CJ, one of the most popular professional Affiliate networks.
  • ShareASale – not as large a network but popular and easy-to-use.
  • Avant Link – easy technology and great advertisers.
  • Affiliate Window – popular in Europe and expanding in the U.S.
  • Trade Doubler – another European network with great global reach.
  • Amazon – offers a wide range of physical products and books.
  • eBay Partner Network (previously Pepperjam) – enjoys eBay’s wide range of new and used products.
  • Link Connector – a wide range of trusted brands.

For a larger list of the top Affiliate Networks, see mThink’s list of the Top 20 Affiliate Networks.

If you want to supplement your income or create a primary income for yourself, selling Affiliate products and services online could be the answer you’re looking for.

However, like all the ideas on great Internet businesses, the more proficient you are at Internet marketing, and the more time you put into it, the greater the reward that you will enjoy.

Internet Business Ideas #6. Offer a Service You Can Sell on Fiverr… and Earn Thousands of Dollars a Month

Do you have a service you’d be willing to offer for five bucks?

This may not seem like a lot. But if your service is valuable enough and you could deliver enough of them fast enough, you could earn as much as $6,000-a-month and more, offering your services through Fiverr.

Fiverr is an Internet business platform where people offer a wide range of services for five dollars.

It could be something as wacky as someone filming your business card in their fish tank, or as sophisticated as someone posting your press release on hundreds of press release sites, or as simple as someone providing a 50-word professional voice-over recording that you could use on your website or videos (if you want more that 50 words, you’ll have to pay a little more), and just about anything in between.

Many successful Internet businesses use Fiverr because so many useful services can be found, among the wacky stuff.

Most offers include an upsell — the most common being, for an additional $5-20 you could get it delivered the same day.

Earning $50,000-a Year and Much More (Part-Time)!

Not everyone’s Internet business earns great money through fiverr.

However, with the right offering, this can prove a valuable income resource and for some, an incredible full-time income.

Take a struggling actress who offers to be your Video Spokesperson… for $5.

This may not seem like a profitable Internet business to you, but consider this…

Through fiverr, she quickly started generating over $500-a-week of extra income from fewer than ten 50-word narrations. The work on fiverr can be done any time of the day or night, takes almost no time and really helps a struggling actress make ends meet.

She includes “Gig Extras” which boost the overall purchase price.

In her case, they include:

  • For an extra $10… I will accommodate your wardrobe request (meaning she can dress in business attire if you need that);
  • For an extra $10… I will add your logo, URL or Facebook logo;
  • For an extra $20… I will wear a clip-on mic for improved audio;
  • For an extra $5… I will edit your script – up to 150 words;
  • For an extra $40… I will deliver this order in just 2 days.

She also offers custom projects starting at $100.

See how these extras boost the average payout to $30-50 per “gig” and more? Once you begin to understand the possibilities, you begin to realize that Fiverr is not such a bad Internet business for certain types of services.

A Geek I know generates more than $100,000-a-year just from Fiverr by offering several technical services, many of which require a hefty monthly subscription if you wanted to do them yourself.

When it comes to Internet business ideas, five bucks might not seem like a lot. But if you think of it as a gateway to bigger income, offering your services on Fiverr could become an important source of income for you.

Internet Business Ideas #7. Get Thousands of Buyers Quickly… by Partnering with Others to Build Your Own List

What if you could get other people to promote your product or service to thousands of people they have on their email list? Could that be a valuable Internet business strategy?

Absolutely!

One of the easiest ways to do that is with a joint-promotion, otherwise called a Joint-Venture or JV.

JVs are important when you want to expose a massive number of people to your product or service in just a few months.

For authors, a JV where many people promote your book to their list, all on the same day, can push your book to the top of the Amazon or Barnes & Noble bestseller lists.

Okay. So why would anyone with their own Internet business want to promote your product, service or book to their email or Facebook lists?

Well, consider this…

Successful marketers — people who have already built a substantial email or Facebook list of people interested in their products and services — need to feed the beast. They need to periodically provide fresh content, or the people on their list will get bored.

Keeping content flowing to people on your email list is an essential for an Internet business to remain active.

Also, once they’ve worked so hard to get all these people’s email addresses, wouldn’t it be great if they could earn even more money from them?

Why Would Anyone Be Willing to Promote You to Their List

So, why would someone with a successful Internet business be willing to promote you to their list?

There are three reasons.

First and foremost, you must have something that would be interesting and valuable to the people on their list.

Second, in many cases they will promote you if you offer a way for them to make money. After all, especially for the successful ones, remember, this is an Internet business and not an Internet “hobby.”

Third, even if they won’t earn money, or at least, not a significant amount, they may still promote you if they like you, or if they owe you, because you have promoted them in the past.

The good news is, many online marketers with email lists are beginning to understand all the benefits of JV-ing and actively seek out others with lists.

Such online communities as Joint Venture Insider Circle (JVIC) are helping these Internet businesses to connect with other like-minded Online marketers. JVIC is an online community with hundreds of online marketers wanting to partner with others, making the process easier.

Of Course… Making Big Money Can Also Be a Great Motivator

Steve Harrison spent more than a decade building his Internet business, with a list of 80,000 authors, speakers and coaches.

So promoting someone else’s product to his list seemed dangerous. After all, if people on his list didn’t like what was being offered, or if they somehow disliked the presenter, droves of them could “unsubscribe” and that would be terrible.

So when motivator and high-performance coach Brendon Burchard asked Steve if he would promote his $5,000 weekend workshop, Steve hesitated. But Brendon did a great job of alleviating Steve’s concerns, and Steve ultimately took a chance.

The result?

From two one-hour teleseminars (telephone-based seminars) where Steve interviewed Brendon, 200 people signed up for Brendon’s program. If Brendon split the $5,000 fee with Steve (which is often the case, especially on an untested relationship), that meant Steve generated a whopping $500,000 (200 x $2,500) by promoting Brendon to his list. An incredible Internet business result!

Of course, that would mean Brendon also generated $500,000!

Let me repeat that… Steve earned $500,000 for just a few hours of work!

The point here is simple.

Even if you don’t have an Internet business that pays anywhere near this amount, if you have a product or service that’s any good, JV-ing with others who have a list could prove tremendously and mutually valuable. Offering a JV commission could be even better (but it may not be essential).

Telesummits and Giveaways Is Another Way to Go

Of course, not everyone with a successful Internet business will be willing to partner with you.

However, for these people, you may consider conducting a “Telesummit” or “Promotional Gift Giveaway” with them, in order to help build each of your email lists of potential buyers.

A telesummit is a joint-promotion, conducted by telephone or through a webinar. It usually takes place over several hours or days, with each participant providing some training in an interview format, and sending listeners to a website that offers them something free in exchange for their email address.

A “Promotional Gift Giveaway” is similar, but without the interviews. In a giveaway, every Internet business marketer offers a valuable freebie that people can get by providing their email address.

For each of these promotions, several marketers will often partner, each offering something free and valuable, such as an online book, video, cheat-sheet or counseling session.

Here’s why Telesummits and Gift Giveaways can help you build a larger list of potential customers.

If ten Internet business marketers each have a list of 1,000 email addresses (from previous promotions), by promoting the Giveaway or Telesummit to their entire list, the combined audience who see YOUR offer can be 10,000 people.

The strategy is as follows:

  • All JVs should somehow be marketing to the same audience;
  • Every JV promises to promote the Summit or Giveaway to their entire list; and
  • Every JV offers something free to capture as many new email addresses as possible.

What if you don’t have a list of your own?

You could be the one sponsoring and running the summit or giveaway, and that would solve your problem.

A Source of Hot Leads and High Income

Could this be a useful way to generate great income through the Internet?

Absolutely!

For starters, a coach with virtually no Internet business list, generated 18,000 email addresses from people interested in her type of product, in just two weeks (45 days including the setup time). Then, over the next few months she was able to promote several of her lower-cost products and services to them ($18 to $47), and invite them to her free webinar, where she promoted a more expensive training program ($997).

From this list of 18,000 people, she generated a nice six-figure income over just a few months.

Also, having such a large list has given her clout to get influential partners, who promote her to their lists in exchange for her doing the same for them.

The beauty of this approach is, once you have someone’s email address, it costs nothing to send promotions to them.

Internet Business Ideas #8. PPA Networks — Earn “Big” Money Sending Customers to Major Companies

Here’s one of many Internet business ideas that many people never consider.

Many larger companies are willing to pay you big bucks if you send them “qualified” prospects (potential customers).

Although the typical payout is about $20, the amounts paid can vary from $5 to $2,000 per lead and more, depending on the industry and complexity of finding the prospect.

Companies paying for these kinds of Internet business leads include insurance, drug counseling, lawyers searching for people who may be liable for a lawsuit settlement, mortgage refinancing, solar energy systems, adoption services and more.

Sources for these companies are called CPA networks, referring to Cost-Per-Action or Cost-Per-Acquisition.

Although each company that pays a CPA deal specifically defines what they consider a “qualified” lead, in general these companies want you to bring them someone who has a reasonable chance of becoming their customer. You do this by having them complete a form or a survey which the company provides, or downloaded software indicating they are somewhat open to the company’s product, or at least, dissatisfied with a competitive product which they may already have.

Many six-figure Internet business incomes are generated by people who focus on these opportunities.

Note: These sites generally refer to you as a “publisher” because you will be creating and/or publishing online ads and promotions to generate leads for them.

There is plenty of online help and training on how to do this effectively, as these companies want you to succeed, because you are providing them leads that will often make money for them.

Here are a few Internet business directories that list CPA deals — from $5-per-lead to over $2,000 — with most in the $20 range.

Here are a few of the Internet business sites offering CPA Income…

Earn Even MORE Money… by Getting Their Phone to Ring

Another option for building your Internet business income is the Pay-Per-Call Networks.

With these, you create web pages where people interested in their products have the option to speak with a company rep by clicking a button on your page.

These are even more valuable to the companies so they will pay you even more.

Here are a few of the Internet business CPA networks that also offer Pay-Per-Call programs…

Of course, to benefit from these Internet business CPA income sources, you will need to understand how to set up a web page that promotes or explains the company’s offer, and then how to attract enough traffic that enough people are seeing your offer.

Internet Business Ideas #9. Earn Big Money… Selling Your Photos, Videos and Art Through Online Platforms

If you are a photographer, videographer or illustrator, there are plenty of Internet business sources where you can make a great income by selling your work Online through Stock Image platforms.

At the top end, stock image leaders such as Getty Images and Corbis pay top dollar for photography and high end images.

Certain images sold though these sources can garner hundreds or even thousands of dollars to you. However, it can be difficult getting accepted as a supplier to these Internet businesses, as they accept only the top artists and journalism photographers in the world, or unique, highly sought after images of newsworthy events or celebrities in compromising situations.

That said, if you feel you can compete, these sources can be valuable.

Of course, if you are able to capture a newsworthy image or an image of a major celebrity in a compromising position or situation, you may be able to generate big money through these companies.

However, great income can still be generated through many of the lower-priced Internet business platforms. You’ll just need to provide a lot more images.

For example, a woman with a great passion for photography (and some skill), could earn several thousand dollars a month supplying images to these stock image platforms. Although she may earn about 50 cents to a few dollars for a premium image, a single visit to the Grand Canyon, or to a botanical gardens, or to the state capital, or to a pasture, could yield dozens, hundreds or even thousands of great images in a single day — all of which can be published on one or several stock platforms.

Even household items photographed on a white background, could yield tremendous income.

These images are often evergreen, meaning they can generate Internet business income year after year for decades.

If you understand the kinds of images people are looking for most — especially those where only a few great images are available, these can help you rise to the top of the image searches and earn top dollars.

  • iStockPhoto, the lower-priced library owned by Getty Images, accepts photos, illustrations, audios and videos

Internet Business Ideas #10. eBay is Easier than Most People Realize… for Generating Major Income

Is selling on eBay one of the Internet business ideas you would consider?

Before you say No, consider this…

EBay claims that more than a million people are currently making a living selling products on their Internet business auction and retail platform.

Although the majority of people selling on eBay make a few hundred to a few thousand dollars, if you roll up your sleeves and really work it, you could earn a healthy six and seven-figure income in a short time.

Here are three examples of people who built major Internet business incomes using eBay.

FROM HUNTING THROUGH USED CLOTHING STORES… SHE BECAME AN INTERNET MILLIONAIRE IN JUST A FEW YEARS

Sophia Amorusa was a high-school dropout who loved hunting for vintage (used) clothing in thrift stores — the kind of quirky skirts, blouses and dresses teens and young 20’s women would love.

She never considered starting her own Internet business.

But watching free Internet videos on how to sell stuff on eBay, she got inspired and launched her own eBay store to sell the items she found.

Sophia named her eBay store “Nasty Gal,” stealing the name from a music album she loved. Pretty soon she was making a small and growing income from a growing number of young female fans who loved her taste and selections. In fact, the more items she was able to find, the more she would sell, all at a nice profit.

Sophia decided to take some of the income she was earning through eBay and set up her own Internet business with a Nasty Gal website, where she would sent her eBay customers to find her full catalog of items.

She also found an Australian manufacturer of incredible and sometimes outrageous high heel shoes, who agreed to give her exclusive rights to sell on the Internet. With an exclusive product now available, her business really took off like wildfire.

Then, a quirk of fate changed her life forever…

An investor, whose daughters were fans of Nasty Gal, agreed to invest his time and expertise in her Internet business to help her expand to an even larger audience, and her company’s income exploded to more than $100 million.

Sophia has become a darling of the entrepreneurial world — as an example of a high-school dropout who was able to grow her Internet business from nothing to $100 million in just a few years… and having a blast at the same time!

HE WENT FROM BROKE TO $3.3 MILLION IN 3 YEARS — FINDING CLOSEOUTS

In just three years, Lanny Morton and his wife Deena took their eBay Internet business from an $800 investment (which he borrowed) — buying 20 baseball bats — to more than $3.3 million in sales through their eBay store, SportsCloseouts.com.

Selling sporting goods like baseball equipment, bike helmets and snowboards at rock bottom prices, their Internet business revenues have tripled each year — as they contacted manufacturers and retailers who are trying to get rid of their overstock merchandise.

Starting on their living room floor pasting labels on 10 to 15 packages at a time, their 7,200 square foot warehouse now ships internationally, to places like Germany and Great Britain, and has afforded them a life beyond anything they could have dreamed.

HE WENT FROM BROKE TO EBAY MILLIONAIRE — IN 24 MONTHS

Matt Clarkson was a struggling part-time carpenter and his wife Amanda sold pies from a rusted van, when they discovered the eBay Internet business opportunity.

To become familiar with how it works, they started selling items from their home. The first item they posted was a video of “How to Make Money on the Internet,” and the money they made surprised them. So they started selling anything that wasn’t nailed down in their home and the homes of neighbors and family.

When an old tattered book sold for a surprisingly high amount, Matt contacted the buyer to find out why someone would pay so much for something so worn. When the guy explained that he had a sentimental attachment to that book and had been searching for years to get a copy — light bulbs went off in Matt’s head about why people buy on eBay… that it’s often for “impulse” and not necessity reasons.

That experience helped him begin to understand how dedicated buyers on eBay could be, when searching for a particular item.

He and Amanda also started noticing that some items were more popular than others. Particularly, whenever they would post camping gear on their eBay site, it would sell like crazy.

That gave them an idea…

Why not find a supplier of camping gear and see if there would be a way to buy some at a deep discount. Then they could sell it on their site and suddenly start generating a “flow” of income from a single type of product.

With credit card in hand, they located a Chinese company, and made a $5,000 investment (including shipping) in camping fridges and “cool-boxes” that keep camping items cold.

(NOTE: Alibaba is a great Internet business website for finding foreign manufacturers of all types of products. Combine that with information available from trade associations, gift and trade shows, The Thomas Register of Manufacturers and other sources available from your public library, and finding foreign and domestic suppliers is easier today than ever. Of course, you could lose your shirt buying from an untested foreign supplier, so never invest every dime you have with an untested supplier.)

Matt and Amanda hit the jackpot right away.

The camping equipment sold out quickly and netted them more than $4,000 profit, getting them excited about the possibilities for building their Internet business income. They began reordering and their success continued.

Just 8 months after they began selling items on eBay, their Internet business was selling $24,000-a-month of merchandise.

Eventually, they added housewares, like pots, pans and cutlery, to their eBay store

In the beginning they were working long hours to get their eBay Internet business going, posting items, searching for suppliers, reading articles and watching videos on how to make money on eBay. Today, just two years later, they spend less than 10 hours-a-week working their multi-million dollar Internet business.

What are they doing with all that free time and money they now have?

With more than $8 million of incredible eBay revenues, they are pinching themselves as they enjoy their new yacht and a lifestyle such an amazing income affords them.

11 Tips on How to Generate an Amazing Income from eBay

Although there’s never a guarantee that you will experience this type of success with your eBay Internet business, here are a few tips that could help stack the deck in your favor, increasing the likelihood that you also will build an incredible income selling items on eBay.

1. EXPERIENCE — Get used to selling stuff on eBay. Start by selling everything that isn’t nailed down in your home. In the process, watch what sells better and easier than other items, to help you find the category that may be most profitable for you.

2. RESEARCH – Identify a niche product. Go to flea markets, auctions and any place where you can get an idea of what people are willing to pay money for. Also, check what’s new in department stores that seems hot. Don’t be afraid to look on the labels for information on who and where the manufacturers are.

3. SUPPLIERS – Use the Internet to find local and International manufacturers. Alibaba is a great Internet business site for foreign manufacturers. But also check trade associations and trade shows. Don’t be afraid to use your public library, which can provide incredible resources not available online.

4. RELATIONSHIPS – Build positive relationships, with Internet business suppliers and with customers.

5. ENGAGE – Build up a database of customer emails, and send them emails that will strengthen your relationship with them. Send teaser emails letting them know about new products that are available. But also, send recipes and ideas that can help them. Remember, the harder you work to show them that you appreciate them, the more devoted they will be to buying from you.

6. PHOTOS – Take clear, uncluttered photos of your products, on light or white backgrounds when possible.

7. DESCRIPTIONS – Describe your products in a way that people will want to buy it. Instead of “blue jeans,” say, “boot cut, slim fit, flattering jeans.” Think of your description as, “Theater of the Mind.” Paint sumptuous word pictures that resonate in the minds of your buyers, and they will buy plenty from you.

8. HONESTY – Building buyer trust is essential to long-term Internet business success. If your product has a flaw, take a closeup photo and show your buyers exactly what it looks like. Buyers will trust you for that, and feel comfortable buying from you.

9. CATEGORY – eBay has over 50,000 product categories. To make sure your product gets found, make sure it’s listed under the correct category. “Women’s Maternity Dresses” should be listed under “Women’s Maternity Clothing,” and not “Women’s Clothing.” When something is not listed under the best category, your sales will suffer.

10. CLOSE – End your eBay Internet business auction at 8 to 9 pm, when most people are home.

11. SERVICE – Give outstanding customer service. Having ongoing Ebay Internet business revenues is dependent on ratings and repeat Internet business. You do not get a second chance to make a first impression.

If you take it seriously, a great income can be generated through selling products on eBay.

And plenty of help is available. If you are interested in setting up an eBay store, here’s a page that can really help you get started “Getting Started Setting Up an EBay Store.

Internet Business Ideas #11. Earn a Great Living… Offering Your Services Through an Online Marketplace

If you have a skill or service that other people would pay for, there’s a good chance an Internet business platform is available where potential buyers could find you.

Some of these platforms cover a wide range of services, such as Craigslist and Google Places, while others are highly specialized, such as 1800-Dentist.

For people wanting to generate an Internet business income without having to go to work in a conventional job, these marketplaces can be a real benefit.

Here are three examples…

1. Network Management Specialist Finds Hot Directory/Marketplace

A Network Management specialist at one of the world’s largest biotech companies, lost his job as a result of a personality conflict with management.

He was terrified of the possibility of being unemployed. But he was even more terrified of having to look for another job, where he could again face personality issues.

So he searched the Internet for alternatives.

What he discovered was an Internet business tech site where companies around the world were seeking independent Network Management specialists to help them with major projects.

In a short time he was generating more than double his previous salary doing independent projects, and found two other network specialists to help him with his projects.

What he discovered was, sometimes all it takes is a single online marketplace to change your life.

2. Office Manager Finds Hot Directory/Marketplace

Pamela was an office manager for a small textile manufacturer. When her boss decided to retire, she found herself without a job.

Having heard about Tim Ferris’ book, “The 4-Hour Workweek” where he discussed the emerging Virtual Assistant (VA) industry, she was intrigued.

In essence, a Virtual Assistant helps manage the affairs of a small business owner much as an office manager would, but from a remote location, through the Internet.

A typical VA works fewer hours than an office manager, but at a much higher hourly rate.

Business owners benefit by getting an office manager or administrative assistant, but without having to pay a full-time salary or benefits.

The VA benefits by having freedom from a sole employer and the opportunity to earn more by working with many clients.

Pamela signed up with two VA Internet business networks, and soon acquired three clients who covered most of her previous income. Now she gets to work a limited number of hours — enjoying most of the week off — while earning almost the same income as she had with her previous employer.

3. Mold Remover Finds Hot Directory/Marketplace

An expert at removing mold from homes — uses ServiceMagic (now called HomeAdvisor) to supply him with almost all his clients. This Internet business service charges him a certain amount for every lead they provide, and almost every one results in a paid client.

  • eLance, oDesk and Guru.com for ..but also many administration tasks including transcription and translation
  • Scriptlance for programmers

BONUS– For SmartPhones and Tablets

Another of the Rarely Considered Income Generating Internet Business Ideas… Create a Profitable iPhone or SmartPhone App

Creating apps (computer programs) for certain devices is easier than many people may realize.

Although this is one of those Internet business ideas that’s more for mobile devices such as iPhones, SmartPhones, iPads and Tablets, because of the opportunity to generate major income with little effort and expense, I’ve included it here for you.

The success Joel Comm enjoyed with his Internet business is a prime example of what you could achieve creating cool and useful apps, particularly for the iPhone and iPad.

Joel was a college student who wanted to earn some extra income. He heard an interview that explained how Apple made creating apps for its iPhone simple enough that a non-programmer could learn how to do it rather quickly.

So he took the challenge, took a few free online courses, and learned how to create apps for the device.

But… what should he create?

One day, while joking around with friends, he got this hairbrained inspiration.

Wouldn’t it be funny if he created a program that makes gross sounds. He could call it the iFart app. It would be on a timer, so an iPhone owner could set it on a chair, step away, and watch the fun as the iPhone started making its intermittent sounds. People in an office, at a party or a family get-together, or in a classroom, would be looking around to see who was making those gross sounds. Then, once they realized it was the phone, they would get the joke and everyone would have a good laugh.

Then he figured, if he priced it at 99 cents, people would be willing to buy it as an impulse item, on a whim because the idea was so funny.

But could such a wacky idea make money?

The answer came quickly, and continuously for several years.

Once he posted it on the iTunes store, his iFart app started generating more than $10,000-a-day. With Apple taking 30%, that left him with about $7,000-a-day of pure profits.

This college student, trying to generate some extra income, found himself suddenly generating millions from what most people would dismiss as one of those nutty Internet business ideas.

A Creative Idea Could Become a Cash Cow for You

The iFart app is an example of an Internet business opportunity many people would not consider.

With programming becoming simple enough for many devices that non-programmers can learn it, if you could come up with a clever, fun or outrageous idea, and price it properly, you could generate an amazing income for yourself.

And with so many free online training programs to teach you, creating a revenue generator for the iPhone and iPad may be easier than you realize.

If you are interested in Internet Business ideas like this, type “how to write an app for” in Google and you’ll see a list of options, from which you can choose.
